This jacket can be worn as outer wear if it's not terribly cold outside, or it can be worn as a blazer jacket with a skirt or over a dress, with slacks, or even to dress up your favorite jeans. May have very light piling, common with wool jackets, but nothing noted except minor. Measurements were taken with garment laying flat and measured side seam to side seam on the outside of the garment, so keep that in mind when you are checking measurements. Inside measurements would be smaller because of the wool fabric and lining. Please take a few minutes to measure a similar garment you already own that fits you well, and compare those measurements to the measurements given to insure proper fit.
