When this item shipped please remember it was 106 degrees in Texas and extremely humid during shipping which might have caused the color to change . Item was not old and was brand new . The heat here is horrible this year . And some products being mailed in this extreme heat can sometimes melt , change color etc . The product was normal and fine when it was wrapped and shipped off . Sorry it changed during shipping in the heat .
