Item description

SAMUEL BOYD OF CATCHPOLE SQUARE by B. L. Farjeon Grosset Dunlap, n.d. (early 1900s) Condition: Good- B. L. Farjeon was a British novelist who died in 1903. This uncommon title is of particular interest to collectors of Victorian Era mysteries. There are full-page illustrations by Miss Edith L. Lang. Externally, the front cover paste-on illustration is rubbed and faded and one corner is very worn; otherwise, moderate cover wear. Internally, the hinges are split, the ffep is missing and there is some staining and page corner creases; a small name is written on the front end paper; otherwise, the pages are all intact, with only modest darkening. No dust jacket.
