Item description

• This Copenhagen Museum Reproduction Of Apostle Saint Jude Thaddaeus Statue measures approximately 8"Tall, 3"Wide and 2.5"Deep. • This Copenhagen Museum Reproduction Of Apostle Saint Jude Thaddaeus Statue is made of cold case polyresin, hand painted and polished individually. • Bertel Thorvaldsen's work and personal gift to the Copenhagen Museum in Denmark showcases the unique features of the 12 apostles of Jesus Christ. The museum also features 'Christus' as the focal point, originally made of Carrara marble. You can find the original masterpieces in life size at the "Christ Hall" at the museum. • St. Jude, known as Thaddaeus, was a brother of St. James the Less, and a relative of Our Saviour. He was one of the 12 Apostles of Jesus and his attribute is a club. Images of St. Jude often include a flame around his head, which represent his presence at Pentecost, when he accepted the Holy Spirit alongside the other apostles. Another attribute is St. Jude holding an image of Christ, in the Image of Edessa.
