New with box. Jovan Silky Rose Perfume by Jovan, Jovan Silky Rose is one of the trio of fragrances released by Jovan in 2012 as an oriental/oud collection. It opens with a sweet blend of rose and patchouli leaf that is enhanced by the sharper note of red currants. The sweetness calms down as the heart notes of orange blossoms and jasmine join the continuing freshness of roses. Rather than an overpowering tea rose scent, this is a delightfully light, white rose fragrance. As the scent matures, it mellows to a base of musk, amber and vanilla. The overall signature is of candied fruits and rose grounded in patchouli. Silky Rose is as smooth and creamy as the name suggests and is an ideal daily fragrance – charming without coming on too strong.
