Two Ukraine bank notes 1994 series (1994-2000): 1. 10 000 rubles - Green Obverse -Alexander Suvorov overprinted on a 10 ruble note with 10ooo on front and back. Reverse - Transnistrian Supreme Soviet Printing - 1994 Issue - 1996 2. 50 000 rubles - Blue Oberse - Alexander Suvorov overprinted on a 5 ruble noe with 50ooo on front and back Reverse - Transnistrian Supreme Soviet Printing - 1994 Issue - 1996 Ukraine spent most of its history split betwen rival empires, the Russian Empire and the Austrian-Hungarian Empire, each with it's respective currency. . The Kynoh notes were uncirculated and designed to replace the Soviet rubles, but later scrapped in favour of the new currency Hryvnia. The ruble is the currency of Transnistria, a state considered part of Moldova. Soviet banknotes were issued in the Trans-Dniester Moldavian Republic after its formation in 1990. When the former Soviet republics began issuing their own currencies, Transnistria was flooded with Sovieet rubles. To protect its financial system, in July 1993, the Transnistrian government bought used Goznak-printed Soviet and Russian notes dates 1961-1992. In Uncirculated Condition.
