Lilly Pulitzer Dress

It all began with a fruit juice stand. To hide the juice stains on her clothing, Lilly Pulitzer made a sleeveless dress from colorfully-printed cotton. Thus was the clothing brand was born. When Jacqueline Kennedy was photographed wearing one of Pulitzer’s dresses (made from curtain material) while on vacation, Lilly Pulitzer brand recognition skyrocketed. Today the Lilly Pulitzer designers develop every print and pattern in their print studio; each piece features a vibrant, colorful, original work of art.
