after 20 years I got rid of my beard(vanity, it was white) but I always hated shaving. I drifted into Wet Shaving but wasn't happy with my razor. in the community the Gillette "Fast Boy" is considered the best of the adjustable twist to open razors. I bought the a Gillette Slim originally(manufactured at the same time) and was delighted with it(after a tune up at Razor Emporium). this was mechanically sound so it went to Razor Emporium for a cleaning, tune up and strip/replating with rhodium. it will become my face razor(I use 2 razors because I shave my head also but I need a milder setting for the head).
