Measures 8-9/32" X 11-3/8", 44 pp including covers -- full color and b w photos and illustrations -- Volume 1, Number 1 (Winter 1956) -- published by Western Printing And Lithographing Co. (NY). Group 4-1245 There is a missing chunk at the front lower left corner, plus a 5/8" tear at the rear lower spine edge, plus a 9/16" tear at the rear mid-lower edge -- plus wear chipping to edges corners, with creases, folds, scratches, lesser tears, indentations, rub-wear, soiling, etc -- this issue was by subscription, so there is also a top to bottom vertical crease, where the magazine was folded to fit inside the mailing sleeve -- plus a long 10-15/16" crease, from the front lower left corner, to the front mid-upper right edge -- overall condition Good Minus Many of the MOUSEKETEERS appearing in this 1956 issue had very short careers with WALT DISNEY -- JOHNNY CRAWFORD jumped from being a MOUSEKETEER to appearing regularly as "MARK McCAIN" (with his TV father "LUCAS McCAIN" on the TV series THE RIFLEMAN; and PAUL PETERSON reportedly had discipline problems with the crew and was released, only to show up shortly thereafter as "JEFF STONE" on the TV series "THE DONNA REED SHOW"; and it would still be about a dozen years later, until PAT MORROW joined the cast of the TV show "PEYTON PLACE," as RITA JACKS. And some never even appeared on the MICKEY MOUSE CLUB TV show. . ..
