Cases and cassettes are checked and cleaned, outside, and if necessary also inside. That having said, most of these tapes are retired rentals and have had an active life in the past, and generally haven't been well taken care of afterwards. We promise to deliver a cleaned, playable tape in the condition as described above, but we can't guarantee lasting smooth playback until the end of times. And keep in mind the condition description is in the context of decades old, generally well used tapes. Korea used the NTSC format, which is compatible with VCR's in countries such as the US, Canada, Japan and Mexico. Keep in mind that if you're in a country using the PAL format, you'd need a alternative VCR that supports NTSC.
