Item description

An Asian Tankard.....staved in construction....gives a good crash course on surface evaliuation of primitives.....(my personal forte)....patina should NOT be confused with weathering...its easier for this deception to take place inasian artifacts vs amer/euro/artifacts due to a state of the art in machining not yet available in 3rd world nationsC.1600-1899.....always somewhat substandard......but that being said...this is still one IMPRESSIVE TANKARD......Acute photos will show a combo. of age patina vs weathering outdoors....second and final post of this type...an extreme primitive and like its brother created entirely from the jungle!THANKS.
