Inventory sync?

I’ve been a seller on Bonanza for some time, but am seriously looking at the store. I’d like to use Bonanza and NOT Shopify because I’m just not a fan of Shopify’s nickel and dime scheme. The problem is, I also need to keep my inventory that is on both eBay and Amazon in sync. Well, Shopify can do that. I know Bonanza can connect and import from both eBay and Amazon, but is there anyway for Bonanza to recognize an inventory item imported from either ebay or Amazon as the same item on the other. In other words, if I have an item listed on all three channels, is there a way for Bonanza to recognize that it’s the same item and keep the inventory in sync between them. If I sell something on Bonanza, I’d like it to change the inventory level on itself as we as Amazon and eBay. I see I can do that with either or, but I don’t want two listings imported of each item. Can this be done? If not, then I have to use Shopify or another inventory management platform-which very few align with Bonanza making that a difficult route. If this isn’t an option, it’s something that if included with the webstore would be a sure fire subscription point not just for me, but for many who want a simple way have there own store and connect it with Amazon and eBay

Hello Parodycollector,

I also have had this same issue. I am working on a software idea at the moment. In the meantime, Yes Shopify is a pain to use. It depends on what you’re selling and the amounts.

Say you have 3 of the same item. It is sometimes better to put your inventory at 1 in each place.

In my 3 years of selling online. You may know this also. Some items do better on other platforms. So you may not want to put all your inventory on every platform you sell on.

This is not the easiest way. But use an excel sheet or google sheet. With your inventory. Have a link to each listing on all the platforms you sell on. When you see an item is sold. Then you can easily find where that item is listed. That is off manually.

The big issue with inventory sync access many platforms. Are the coding, logics, API. There is a cost for API calls. Think of it as if you sold something on Bonanza. Someone at bonanza has to new call eBay and Amazon to tell them. We sold item X. Can you please take it down. eBay and Amazon say ok. we put it in the queue to be worked on.

This is why sometimes the inventory syncs access all platforms isn’t so easy to make work. You should look at eBay store accounts. I have a store with them. You got a lot of great benefits.
