I have not made one sale since the new owners took over. Last night I get 2 emails, one just said HEY -, so I thought it may be a scam but log on today and see [URL removed] Oh no! It looks like your booth has been placed on hold due to the Final Value Fee payment from your credit or debit card on file could not be completed. The transaction was cancelled and your booth has been taken offline. To place your Bonanza booth back online, please make sure you have a valid credit or debit card on file to be used for your Final Value Fee payments.
The way it use to work is that the fees were collected at the beginning of each month and if you had enough points, which I always do, then you could pay the selling fee through points. I have $30 or so in my shipping funds so I know it is not that.
Anyone else?

According to cust svc rep Brandon, Bonanza now will charge a FVF to a seller’s cc if they have not had a sale for 60 days! I have been selling on Bonanza for 13 years and this is the first time I have ever heard of this! Anyone else? I have over 3000 tokens and would like to use the tokens to pay the FVF instead of being charged a FVF before I even get paid, money in bank, for the item! Plus this new policy cost me a sale! Why not bill it like before?

Have never heard of them doing this before. As far as I know we never received an email about the new penalty no sold listing’s fee. I think the word penalty fits the description.

Funny – I received the same exact message, but mine actually said I had received an order and they couldn’t process the fee with a credit card (mine had since expired), therefore they canceled the order on my store.
Why would we have to pay separate fees outside of the transaction? Other platforms such as ebay collect their fees before they pay me… I believe that’s what had happened the last time I ever had a sell on Bonanza.
The platform will not last if this is the way they’re planning on making everything work. So be it
