Does anyone know what these are used for?

someone suggested for hor d’ourves, but they are metal. about 2 5/8" long

I have more pics in the listing…just hopin for ideas..

Star they are food picks,placed on the table to pick up tidbits.I have a very similar set myself.

Both Thailand and also The island of Java produce these tiny metal spears made with brass handles as (vadrafthorse) has described.
Pier 1 and Cost Plus stores currently have those in stock.

They are for cocktail garnishing, such as an orange slice or cherry in a high ball or an olive in a martini.
Since they are made of metal they must be pretty old.

I have had these for years. They are for getting the olive or other items out of your drink.
