It appears to be made of Coral, would that be correct?
What type of metal is it?
When I first started on Bonanzle, Paceset9999 suggested it may be an item from Greece. That’s all the information I have so far.
On the back it is hinged, which makes the item flexible.

Looks like Cloisonne to me but that does not mean it is not unique…the colors are very different from the usual Cloisonne stuff I have seen. Might be Very vintage. Search the web for Vintage Cloisonne Jewelry…there are sites that have pictures and background on almost everything. I have been making jewelry and collecting vintage jewelry for 17 yrs…there is soooo much out there that it is hard to judge from a picture. Whatever you find, it really is interesting!

It appears to be one of the variations on the common oriental design. Today they are still popular and yes I remember seeing them probably in the 60’s maybe even 50’s if it is the jointed type that wiggles. I’ve never seen one from Europe but then who’s to say as I’ve also never seen one listed in any jewelry book. I’m sure there was a more expensive version of it. most were enameled, so go from there if it’s better constructed look under Cloisonne Jewelry

I have recently seen another one of these earlier this [URL removed]
in a brushed goldtone electroplated finish (like the Seikos) and the tri-color scheme is metallica enamel. This was a very trendy piece. My elementary teacher would wear over turtleneck sweater days = but I’m now 38yrs old> go figure!. Hope this helps.

I thought I had one just like it in the late 1960’s or perhaps 70’s.
