Here is where sellers can list any catch-all policies about their booth. If any of this information is essential to the buying process, the seller will also mention that within their item description -- so don't sweat it if you don't make a habit of looking at the details for every booth!

Booth overview

My name’s Bob. I’m in my mid 50’s and live near St, Louis.

I’ve been a huge collector all my life… books, comic books, record albums, 8-track tapes, VHS tapes, LaserDiscs, DVD’s, Blu-Ray discs, you name it.

At the time I was buying all this stuff, I never thought I’d be selling it, so I’m pretty surprised how great a condition most of it’s in!

As for the store name, “Blob-O-Vision Trading…”

One of my favorite cheesy old movies was “The Blob,” about a blob of jelly that crawls out of a meteor and grows bigger as it eats people. I was such a huge fan of that movie, a few of my friends just started calling me Blob instead of Bob.

One of those friends might say the REAL reason I got the nickname was, one night we were all drunk and one of them just blurted out Blob instead of Bob… and the name stuck.

But anyway, I also put together a state of the art TV, VCR, and stereo surround system back then (no such things as home theater, DVD, and Blu-Ray yet), and those same friends started calling my system “Blob-O-Vision.”

When I left eBay and opened this booth, I figured “Blob-O-Vision” was kind of catchy, and once again, the name stuck.

I’m a relatively new seller on Bonanza, but through 450+ feedbacks on eBay (the 572 imported feedbacks shown here include the 120 or so extra’s I’ve gotten from happy repeat buyers) and 700+ feedbacks on Amazon, I’ve accumulated a 99% feedback rating.

Shipping policy

Books, comic books, CD’s DVD’s, and LaserDiscs will ship USPS Media Mail, unless the total package weight is 9 oz or less in which case they will ship USPS First Class. Other items will ship USPS Priority Mail or Parcel Post, or FedEx Ground, on a case-by-case basis. All orders will ship within one business day of cleared payment, usually the very next morning.

Return policy

Full refund available within 30 days

In the unlikely event that an item is defective, let us know within 30 days of receipt and we’ll arrange for a full refund including shipping, assuming the item is returned in the same condition as when we shipped it in the first place. Items sold new and sealed but returned opened will be subject to a restocking fee if not defective (because once opened, we can only resell as “used” even if in otherwise mint condition).

Miscellaneous details

Payment:

We accept cash, PayPal, and money orders for payment. Sorry, no personal checks. PayPal’s “e-checks” will be accepted but must clear before shipping.

Payment for an item (or at least an e-mail) must be received within a reasonable amount of time after the sale or we will apply for refund of seller fees and relist the item.

Shipping:

Our official policy is we ship within 1 business day of cleared payment. We usually ship the very next morning, via USPS or FedEx.

Items weighing less than 16 ounces listed as shipping USPS (Flat Rate) will ship by USPS First Class Mail with Delivery Confirmation. Media items (books, CD’s, movies) will ship Media Mail, also with Delivery Confirmation.

Items that list shipping as USPS (Calculated) will give you the shipping price to your Zip Code via USPS Priority Mail. That’s not our choice, that’s just how Bonanza’s calculated shipping works. FedEx Home Delivery often will get your items to you in the same 2-3 days for the same price. FedEx Home Delivery also includes Delivery Confirmation and insurance in the basic price, while Priority Mail charges extra for both. So when it makes sense, FedEx Home Delivery will be used instead of Priority Mail.
