The recipient unwrapped the box and made a comment about the box looking like it had a rough time. Seller response: Item was brand new in box, packed securely as we have been packing these for over 25 years. Since we have seen no photos or anything from the recipient to prove any such damage, we can only answer in the abstract, which is with the level of mishandling by USPS during the current crisis it must have gotten damaged (if at all since again we have no photos) in their care. We have no indication that the recipient was not just talking about the outer mailing box. Again, lack of any evidence does not allow clarity in response.
