Condition is "Used".

Let's get the condition out of the way first. The toy has rust, scratches, scuffs and appears to be missing one of the small bottles and the sticks that originally came with this set. One of the lids to the small bottles has rusted through and is falling apart so it will no longer keep liquids inside. Several of the bottles still have some of their original contents/liquids inside. They could stand to be cleaned out. I plugged it in and the heater still gets very hot quickly as it should.

The box has scratches, scuffs, stains, tears and creases in spots. The inside of the box is moderately stained. Something was spilled but I am not sure what it was. Luckily this does not take away from the display qualities the box has. The inside stains do not show on the outside of the box.

Now for a little history on this toy set. This toy (model number #3005) was made by Emenee Industries, Inc., which was located at 41-06 Delong Street Flushing, New York 11355. Emenee made a lot of fifties and sixties hands-on toys, which are rarely seen today. Emenee also made the Chocolate Factory and the Emenee Cord Organ - a favorite of inspiring rock-n-rollers of the early 1960's. Emenee also made the Formex 7 - which made toy soldiers, monsters, and dolls out of melted wax. Emenee toys were well designed, tested, and built to last, unlike the toys made today. This Lollipop Factory made in Flushing Queens, NYC works and has so for over 60 years.
