It was mid-spring when I created this 2-drop even count peyote stitch bracelet pattern, & seeing all the new plant growth everywhere around me was the inspiration for this design. I call it "ferns" because the leaves remind me of the greenery often seen in floral bouquets. To give the ferns a textured look, I used chartreuse beads with a Picasso finish on a white background.

The nearly 2,000 small beads are handwoven (without a loom), 2 beads at a time, using a technique called 2-drop peyote stitch. The technique gives the bracelet a lovely drape & feel, almost like fabric.

Measurements: 1" (2.5cm) wide, 7" (17.8cm) long, including the bronze-tone tube slide clasp.
