Ingredients: Distilled water and 100% Pure Glycolic Acid.
This Product is for: Glycolic acid peels 10-30% strength are ideal treatments for individuals who are new to glycolic peels and have normal to oily skin types (sensitive
and/or dry skin types should use our lactic acid peels). First time users should always start at 10% to avoid burns. Glycolic peels 40-70% strength are ideal treatments for
individuals with normal to oily skin types that have had prior experience using glycolic acid peels of equal or greater strength.
How to Apply:
Step 1: Cleanse face and neck thoroughly with an oil-free cleanser.
Step 2: Prepare skin with an alcohol/water solution (50/50 mixture). This will help to break up any oil on skin’s surface for a more even application.
Step 3: Have a neutralizing solution ready to stop the action of the acid if needed. We recommend a baking soda/water solution (50/50). This step is not necessary.
Step 4: Apply peel to face and neck area with a cotton ball. Gently glide cotton ball unto skin, applying more pressure on areas that need added exfoliation.
Step 5: Allow acid to sit on skin for 2-3 minutes.
Step 6: Rinse thoroughly with warm water. If needed, use neutralizing solution from step 3, to neutralize acid. This step is only necessary if you feel that the acid is too
strong for your skin. Otherwise, rinsing thoroughly with warm water should suffice.
Step 7: Apply a good skin hydrating, healing moisturizer unto treated area. We recommend our tepezcohuite cream for faster healing time and best results.
Step 8: SUNBURN ALERT: This product contains Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) that is likely to increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility
of sunburn. Use a sunscreen with SPF 80+, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterward.
Step 9: Repeat peel once a week. Enjoy!
