This is a highly collectible and honestly rare fold-out vertical wall poster showing famous Alfas from 1910 to 1982 (but actually begins in 1908 -- read on). This was part of a literature package I personally collected at the Alfa factory when there for a totally private afternoon spent at the famous factory museum courtesy of one Sig. Magro of Alfa. This is the back side of a fold-out brochure entitled "Museo Alfa Romeo". I know of no other way to obtain this item except at the factory near Milan, and believe this item was very hard for the general public to obtain for that reason. I suspect it is nearly impossible if not totally impossible to obtain one now as it has been over 20 years since I received at the Alfa Museo. The opposite side describes (in Italian) the story behind the museum and its contents, the layout of the museum space (a fascinating arrangement in a remarkable structure), and some additional famous prototypes.
I think you will want to seriously consider hanging this on your den or shop wall because it is a color photographic timeline through Alfa history as you move from top to bottom. Your copy is near mint (creased for presentation as a folder, but along breaks between pictures, some minor depressions that will flatten when framed or dry mounted if you wish, but no hard creases or tears . This item has also been in storage folded since I arrived home with it years ago in a temperature and humidity controlled environment). The poster is printed on nice glossy stock. Cars include everything from the earliest Darracq (actually 1908) through famous gran prix cars, great sports and touring cars, additional prototypes and Le Mans cars, and even a military vehicle. There are more than 75 car photos (makes sense -- 75 years), and it measures approx 12" X 34".
I have been selling online for 16 years, and have a 100% feedback rating. Payment is due upon close of sale. Good luck with your bids! All ad photos, images and content Copyright ©2013 by "Watch" on Bonanza.
