This family pair of Boxers, the mother and the puppy were made by Hagen Renaker. The company has produced high quality miniatures since 1945 and all items are made in the USA. The dogs have a glossy glaze and are a lovely golden brown and tan color with black accent markings on the nose, ears, feet and eyes. These were made from the mid 1950s to the mid 1970s and have long been retired. The Mama Dog measures approximately 2 inches tall and the Puppy is approximately 1 inch tall. The Boxer Mama is #283 and the Pup is #284. I believe the pup with taped ears was made in the 1950s/1960s only.

These are in excellent vintage condition as you can see by the enlarged photographs. There are no chips, cracks or repairs. A little of the brown shows through on the puppy's ears, but that may have been how the white paint was originally applied.

These lovely dog figurines would be the perfect addition to your collection of Hagen Renaker figurines or dog figures. If you are the proud owner of a Boxer, this would be a great pair to display.
