This 2-drop peyote stitch bracelet design was inspired by the motif on a beautiful piece of ikat fabric from Indonesia. The original fabric is in the traditional blue & white, but I opted for different colors -- light and dark pink -- in my bracelet.

The bracelet is designed & hand-woven (by me) using a technique called 2-drop peyote stitch. Nearly 2,000 small beads were woven, 2 at a time, to create this bracelet. The resulting bracelet is supple, with a fabric-like drape. It measures 1" (2.5cm) wide & 7" (17.8cm) long, including the silver-tone tube slide clasp.
