About The Record:

Hangin' Tough is widely regarded as the breakthrough album of the group's career and it has been praised by critics, gaining positive reviews for contemporary-influenced blend of rock with a "teen-pop twist". The album eventually skyrocketed the group to fame due to the creation of a music-video for each single, showcasing the group's visual appeal. Popularity built as the group made TV appearances and embarked on promotional tours. By the end of 1989, the album topped Billboard 200 albums chart. The album also won two American Music Awards in January 1990. With sales of more than seventeen million copies worldwide, Hangin' Tough was certified Diamond in Canada and eight times Platinum in the US. The album generated five singles, Please Don't Go Girl, You Got It (The Right Stuff), I'll Be Loving You (Forever), Hangin' Tough, and Cover Girl. All were top 10 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 charts, making them the first teen act to accomplish such chart success.
