Good condition lithograph portrait of JFK and RFK 1968 by Alton Tobey "Brothers United" This is unframed. It does have one small tear at the top (please see pictures) and a punctured area where Roberts tie is. Could be easily covered by a frame or colored in to match the dark blue area.. It is not made of thin paper … it is the thickness of poster board. Does not bend or roll up.
This print was part of my antique/junque shop business back in 2003 to 2005. I sold the building in 2005 and this piece has been stored in my basement until now. It is not moldy or smells. The surface has bright vivid colors. It is unique that it has the 1969 date at the bottom. This piece could have been given to schools to be hang up to honor both of these great men. Not sure though. I purchased this back when I had my store with a bunch of paper dolls and other paper items. Surprised at that time to find a piece so nice as this is. It could be framed nicely and hung in any office.
It measures 16 inches tall *measured where the 1969 date is x 12 inches wide. For this print to be around for this long and the condition it is in I believe an awesome piece of history.
