The Virtual Background feature lets you display an image as your background during a Zoom Meeting. This feature works best with a physical green screen or uniform lighting, allowing Zoom to highlight the difference between you and your background. You can also upload images.

Use uniform lighting and color.
Do not wear clothing that is the same color as the virtual background.
Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
In the navigation menu, select Settings. In the Meeting tab, select the Virtual Background option (under the In Meeting (Advanced) section). Confirm that the setting is enabled. Click Manage virtual background.
Click Choose File or drag and drop images to upload. You can change screens in the middle of a call if you want to make a special announcement. A green screen is easy to make. Just use a green tablecloth from the Dollar Store.
