This design was inspired by a tribal armband tattoo I recently saw. I often turn to tribal motifs when creating 2-drop even count peyote stitch bracelet designs. The armband proportions translate easily to a bracelet design.

It's made with 2 shades of blue (pale blue for the background, medium blue for the "tresses"), outlined in black.

The nearly 2,000 small beads in this bracelet were hand-woven (no loom), 2 small beads at a time, using a technique called 2-drop peyote stitch, giving the piece a lovely drape, almost like fabric. It measures 1" (2.5cm) wide & approximately 7" (17.8cm) long, including the silver-tone tube clasp.
