This Belleek Willets tankard with hand painted grapes and leaves is beautiful! I believe it is from 1896-1906. it doesn't have a great shape for its age. There are no chips or cracks that I can see. And it sounds solid. Very little of the gold rim on the top is missing. The grapes and leaves almost look like watercolor. The colors are mostly pinks purples and greens. It is marked 454 on the bottom. The inside looks very good with the exception of what appears to get a flawed in the glaze along the outside rim. It was clearly taken very good care of. It is definitely a survivor. Please see all pictures to determine condition for yourself before deciding to make a purchase. I have tried to mention any flaws if there are any. Feel free to ask any questions you may have! Thanks for looking! |
