It is cream in color, ceramic, has a lip at the top edges with silver gilding toward the middle of this piece.  The lip has a scalloped design around the outside.  Inside the serving dish bowl has a design of a mixture of flowers.  The flowers are in the colors of soft pinks, yellows, blues, and greens.  The flowers are bright and vivid...no marring on any of them.  The silver gilding also is in good used condition for its age.  The bowl is in excellent condition.  No chips, cracks, flea bites, crazing, or marring of the surface.  

The serving dish bowl measures 9 inches across where the sides are straight and where the bowl is scalloped it measures 9 1/4 inches.  The bowl is deep well with it being I believe 2 1/2 inches deep.
