Size: The box base is about 6.25 inches by 4 inches by 2 inches high. With the lid, the box is about 3.75 inches high. It is divided into two unequal sections. One section is about 3.125" x 3.38" by 1.25" deep; one is about 3.125" x 1.75" by 1.25" deep.

Condition: It is in great used pre-owned condition. It has manufacturer defects and straw marks. The base top edge has a shallow chip about the size or two grains of rice. It may have very light storage or usage marks. It may have very light manufacturer defects such as a 'straw mark'.
Description:This black glass box has a substantial look. The base has two uneven sections. The underside has a deep molded distinctive shape groove in the middle of the box. The lid is divided with ribs. The finial resembles a cabinet knob and is attached with a metal nut and screw. When a light is shone through the glass, a deep red violet color is seen through the glass.
Notes: When held up to a strong light, a violet amethyst color can be seen through the black glass..
