Sinopsis

 Una noche de 1990 tres hombre y tres armas coinciden en el vestíbulo de la casa del cónsul italiano en Madrid. En la casa está sólo Elena, su hija, esperando ansiosa la llega de un camello que le traerá caballo. Los tres hombres son: Víctor Plaza, (un adolescente inmaduro y marginal) y una pareja de policías, David (25 años) y Sancho (40). La televisión emite "Ensayo de un crimen" de Luis Buñuel. En otro barrio madrileño, Clara, la mujer de Sancho, riega las plantas de su terraza, inconsciente pero no ajena al drama que está ocurriendo en el vestíbulo de la casa del cónsul. Entre los tres hombres estalla una violenta discusión. Hay mucha confusión y mucho "cruce de cables". Una de las pistolas se dispara. La bala alcanza a David en plena columna vertebral.
