RARE 1st Edition Copy of NINE LITTLE GOSLINGS By Susan Coolidge with illustrations Published by Roberts Brothers: Boston, 1875 289 pages size - 7" x 5.5" x 1"
This highly collectable book has dark green boards with gilt lettering on spine and gilt half sun with rays on cover. The gilt on the front board and spine are in very good shape but there are white spots on the bottom right of the cover and a white spot on the back cover. The boards have smudges and scuffs so would rate the outside as good. There is separation of the first three pages (see pictures) but the rest of the pages are loose but intact. The inside pages are slightly yellowed but appropriate for the age; there is no writing or highlighting, tears or rips with the exception of slight ink transfer on pages opposite the illustrations and would rate the inside as very good. Bumping to edges of boards and wear to top/bottom of spine. Overall, consider this copy to be in Good Condition.
