This most special hard cover book is in excellent used condition. Masaccio - Frescoes in Florence was published by the New York Graphic Society by arrangement with UNESCO. The book measures 18 7/8" x 13". There is staining to the covers as well as some damage to the edges of the covers and some damage to the lower part of the binding; however the pages are bound and completely intact. The first section of the book has biographical information about Masaccio and his art with some black-and-white pictures. The second section contains thirty-three color plates, most of which are 14.75" x 11". These consist of frescoes from the Brancacci Chapel and the Church of Santa Maria Novella.
