This votive is very unique.  It is wide at the top and goes into an hour glass shape and at the bottom its like a funnel.  There is a plastic piece attached to the votive which fits down into a candle holder.  It is made of hard plastic (almost looks like a liquor bottle dispenser).  The flowers and vines on the surface of the votive is raised up a little bit to show how beautiful this piece is.  This flower pattern is on both sides...the pattern being the same.  The top is fluted with pinched or crimped areas.  The glass is dark green.  Please look at the photos with the magnifier as it will bring out the design better than I can explain it.  I bought this to use for my yard art/wall art pieces back in 2005.  I hope you love this piece just like I did when I purchased it from another antique dealer.

The votive measures 10 inches tall (including the plastic piece connected to it) x 5 5/16 inches wide at the top fluted area x 1 3/8 inches at the bottom of the plastic piece.  SO this piece could be accepted into a candle holder with a 1 3/8 inches in  diameter space.  Tapered candles are what were in it when I bought it.  The candle well depth space of not quite an inch to fit in the bottom of this votive.  The plastic piece will give it a little extra support when inserted into this candle holder. 

The votive also has been made by joining two sections together...as there is a mold mark to the body of it.  There are no issues with this piece....no cracks, chips, flea bites, marring on the surface, just a little dusty from being in storage.  THIS VOTIVE IS A SEMI-THICK PIECE OF GLASS WHICH MEASURES 1/8 INCHES THICK.
