Duck House Heirloom Doll, Victorian, Retired, 0131/5000
Hddoom, 19 inches

This spectacular Duck House heirloom doll is a 19 inch porcelain doll dressed in exquisite detail. Her outfit includes a layered, collared dress, a coordinating jacket, big flowered hat, necklace, pantaloons, stockings and real leather laced high-top shoes.  (Her fully dressed dolly is attached.) She stands about 29 inches tall and measures 10 inches at the widest point.  Weight, with stand (included):  2lb., 2 ounces.  Her beautiful life-like face has green eyes and dewy lips.  The wild wavy hair includes two braids in the front.  The detail in this doll is remarkable.

On her neck is the logo, Duck House and the numbers 0131/5000 which means she is the 131st doll out of 5000.  It also clearly shows the letters Hddoom, but I can't figure out what that stands for; maybe it was the company abbreviation for "Heirloom."  This is a rare collectible doll made during the period 1989 - 2008 when Duck House sold their doll division.

A great piece to display or give as a gift.  Duck House dolls like this are hard to find today.   Buy it now while it lasts!
