This painting was created from a series of images taken by the Artist at Sandbanks Provincial Park in Canada.  The intention of the image was created to honor our troops that were fighting in Afghanistan and to those that they loved would remain left behind.  The special moment where a child and Mother would write messages in the sand to send up in prayer for the safe return of their Soldier.  Hidden images are important to the overall composition of this image.
