Cheap Street, Frome, somerset, Uk circa 1900.
I have a similar image in my gallery painted in sepia tone. Here we have the same view, and as with my other picture, taken from my own photos and old photographs to get detail and accuracy.
This street is virtually unchanged from medieval times, when it was used, as it is today, by merchants selling their wares. Still lined with quaint old shops, when you walk down here be careful you don't let your foot slip into the 'leat', the small steam running down the centre of this traffic free street .
I post it to you unframed, Special Delivery Tracked, in a boarded envelope, wrapped in plastic for extra protection.
