When you en a garment with the ClimaCool tag, you know that it will keep you cool and dry in a variety of conditions. A typical ClimaCool jersey looks and feels like a classic jersey, with a soft, silky "hand" and a slick texture. However, it performs much differently.
Adidas designers conceived their core fabric in three dimensions. They began by using sophisticated thermal imaging, including infrared cameras, to come up with a body map, in 3-D, of the key areas of heat and sweat generated by a person's body. Advanced technologies were then used to address the needs of each area, in varying climactic conditions.
The fabric used in a ClimaCool shirt pulls sweat away from the body and increases micro-ventilation through strategically placed mesh panels ? for example, under the arms or at the back of the neck. No more sticky back, with your shirt plastered to your frame. ClimaCool jerseys use CoolMax Extreme fabric, one of the fastest drying garment fabrications available. It also drapes beautifully on the body.
