China Lapsang Souchong Reserve: Exclusive hand-packed premium 1990 Fujian Province loose leaf specialty black tea from southeastern, China. This is no ordinary China Lapsang Souchong. Teas2u carefully selected large leaf tea from Fujian Province that has been smoked in the final stages of the drying process with burning green pine roots. Also known as the famous 'smoked' tea of the orient. For the past 30 years this tea has been stored in a cool, dry place and has matured into a uniquely smooth and hearty cup of smoky tea!
Dry Tea Leaf Appearance: partially twisted black tea leaf.
Tea Aroma: wonderfully matured smoky leaf.
Tea Liquor: crystal clear orange-copper.
Tea Taste: full body with lingering smooth and smokey taste notes.
Steeping Tips:
1. Start with fresh, good tasting water for your tea kettle. (spring water is best!)
2. Bring water temperature to a full rolling boil (212°F/100ºC)
3. Add 4 grams of loose leaf tea to your favorite steeping vessel. (teapot or gaiwan)
4. Steep leaf tea for 4 minutes or to your desired taste preference.
5. Strain tea and enjoy!
