This pretty thing is pressed glass and deep blue.  Sometimes called colonial blue or peacock blue-imagine sunlight streaming through its sides! Pattern was first introduced in1800's. Top rim is scalloped and there's a collared base. Even the bottom has design elements. See detail Photo #3.  Measures 2.25" tall X 2" diam  LE Smith was founded in Pennsylvania in 1907. Famous for Moon and Star, company also made mustard jars, jelly jars and even headlights for Henry Ford's Model- T. Look for other unique toothpick holders in my booth.
