The "Compozitor Publishibg House â? St. Petersburg" already used to publish the collections of four hands pieces for ensemble playing. These are favourite widely known compositions. This time young musicians and their teachers are welcome to study new material forming the educational collection "Teacher and Pupil". The ensembles entering this publication do not stop enjoing popularity in pedagogical practice. Dadactic exercises by F. Spindler and H. Berens, so as evergreen classics by Mozart, Schubert, Schumann, Tchaikovsky. Besides, the main idea of this educational collection is the duet of a teacher and pupil, or sometimes two gifted students. As the antology of pieces here starts from pure classical academical exercises, the foundation of European and Russian schools, and goes up to folk songs arrangements, embracing main styles and cultures, it helps to widen any pupilâ?s musical outlook. The educational collection "Teacher and Pupil" consists of two issues. The one we propose now is intended for the junior forms, while the second one â?? for senior or advanced students. Hopefully, it would be of great benifit for both teachers and children in their homework and classwork.Mikhail DunayevskyEdited and compiled by Lepina Mikhailovna LepinaContents:A. Vivaldi. FINALE.
