Vintage original 8x10 in. US single-weight glossy photograph from the classic 1960's call girl-themed drama/romance, BUTTERFIELD 8, released in1960 by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM) and directed by Daniel Mann. Based upon the novel by John O'Hara, a beautiful New York model and socialite (Elizabeth Taylor) moonlights as a call-girl, but all things change when she falls for a married man and the consequences are tragic. The cast includes Laurence Harvey, Eddie Fisher, Dina Merrill, Mildred Dunnock, Betty Field, and Jeffrey Lynn.

The image features a great interior shot of call-girl Gloria Wandrous (Elizabeth Taylor) in her upscale New York apartment as she takes a phone call while wrapped in a full-length mink coat. Printed on the verso is the original caption that describes the photo. It is in fine condition with a 1.75 in. diagonal crease on the top right corner with signs of wear around it in the borders and signs of wear on the other three corners. There are some very small scattered creases from handling over time which are unobtrusive.

Elizabeth Taylor won the Academy Award for "Best Actress in a Leading Role" for her portrayal in this film.
