Box cover has a huge (1/2 dollar sized) varnish lift on the mid-left and top right corner. The top endflap is a little dog-eared too.

Cassette has store branded security stickers on both endcaps assuring you of first generation quality. Pre-viewed for quality and the movie plays fine on my JVC s-vhs deck, has decent color but the soundtrack is distorted at times especially on the high end. This is a fault in the sourceprint or transfer itself, not the tape.

This title is Out Of Print (OOP) in all formats and no longer being manufactured. Kind of rare and especially since it is English dubbed (most formats are not) and hardly mentioned in the directors filmography.

1862--Three balloon bound geographers take flight on an eerie mission to map the mysterious African continent. Cruel climates, savage cultures, and menacing animals threaten the wits and courage of these three men. The movie has a lot of beautiful wild life scenery, landscape photography and some hostiles but it's all 'G' rated for the whole family to enjoy.

The Spanish director is best known for his more adult fare such as 'Night of the Bloody Apes', 'Beaks', 'Tintorera...Tiger Shark' and 'Cyclone'.
