Brand new factory sealed dvd.
The Farrelly brothers stay true to the source material and it works very well. Even the movie is divided into three episodes (just like the original shorts).
Left on the doorstep of a nun-conventional orphanage as toddlers (kudo's to the child actors), Moe, Larry and Curly grow up eye-poking, face-slappping and head-clunking their way into adulthood. Now the bumbling trio--pure of heart, but dim of wit--find themselves on a madcap mission to save their childhood home from foreclosure.
In so-doing, they stumble onto a murder plot and star in a reality TV show. The three actors take the route of impersonation instead of reimagining the boys and their impressions are quite strong. For me this was the best and least offensive of all the Farrelly brothers outings. As a fan of the original shorts, I thought the movie was great. All the actors did spot on imitations including the pre-teen stooge kids who were the best acting kids in recent memory.
