Played great on my Sony machine. Everything looks like new except for a very light crease on the bottom of both spines. Full frame looks great on old school tube TVs as the image will fill your square frame.

Brooks plays Steven, a screenwriter who finds he is unable to get a job when his creative well runs dry. He is introduced by fellow scribe Jack (Jeff Bridges) to Sarah (Sharon Stone), who may actually be one of the Greek godesses of inspiration. Of course, she may be a total lunatic too.

After he discovers that some of the biggest names in Hollywood swear by her mojo, Steven is thrilled when he is deemed worthy of her service. Unfortunately for him, Sarah's inspiration requires a fancy hotel room, expensive gifts, and boatloads of cash, which draws the suspicion of his wife Laura (Andie MacDowell).

As he begins writing, Steven discovers that Sarah has also inspired his wife to start a career of her own and kick him out of bed. Lots of movie in-jokes and cameos from big shots like Rob Reiner, Jennifer Tilly, and Lorenzo Lamas.
