The post-World War II/pre-1954 Whitman "2300" series can be somewhat difficult to date; but this one turned out to be a breeze: the listings at the back of the book also include THE WALTON BOYS IN HIGH COUNTRY, which was not published until 1952. However, NO mention is made of ANY of the other 1952 "2300" series titles (SAND DUNE PONY; GENE AUTRY AND THE BIG VALLEY GRAB' ROY ROGERS AND THE RIMROD RENEGADES; TARZAN AND THE FORBIDDEN CITY; TARZAN AND THE CITY OF GOLD; and RIP FOSTER RIDES THE GRAY PLANET). So my guess is that this copy of the book lists from late 1951 or early 1952.
Shipping charges include postage (including USPS Tracking on domestic shipments), packaging materials, labor and fuel (the nearest post office is 14 MILES away!); but I do combine shipping charges on multiple items -- so fill up that cart NOW an' save some $$$!
