Front cover shows wear to all edges and corners; 1-3/8" fold at upper right corner. with 1/2" fold inside that; 2-3/4" fold at lower right corner, with 5/8" fold insise that; 5-1/4" crease from lower left corner to right edge; 6" crease from lower left corner to right edge; vertical reader crease at left edge to right of spine; 1" crease at upper left corner with crinkled left corner edge.
Spine shows no roll; wear to edges and corners; upper right corner is worn to glue; some chipping on edges.

Comet Books were the predecessor to Pocket Books, Jr., which were the predecessor to Scholastic Book Services; and you just don't seem to run into too many Comet Books anymore. They were always very well illustrated, and didn't "talk down" to their teen-age readers.
