Po (voiced by Black), a chubby panda working for his father's noodle shop, slowly learns of his secret kung fu prowess while bumbling through his daily routine. He comes across a contest held by the wise Shifu (voiced by Hoffman) that draws huge cowds to watch five chosen competitors battle it out for the title of Dragon Warrior.

Somehow, Po is selected as the final competitor, and from there, he becomes a big furry 'Rocky'. Then, through a quirk of fate, he is chosen as the Dragon Warrior to help save a city that's about to be attacked by a ferocious leopard.

Uncommonly handsome production design and exciting action scenes enhance a simple story line. Kiddies and young teens will love it.
