Vintage original 8x10 in. US single-weight glossy on-set photograph taken during the production of the 1940's musical fantasy adventure comedy, A THOUSAND AND ONE NIGHTS, released in 1945 by Columbia Pictures and directed by Alfred E. Green. This tongue-in-cheek fantasy film set in Baghdad os loosely based on the One Thousand and One Nights medieval story. The cast includes Evelyn Keyes, Phil Silvers, Adele Jurgens, Cornel Wilde, Dusty Anderson, and Dennins Hoey.

The image features an interior on-set shot taken during a break in filming as Adele Jurgens (as Princess Armina) makes Cornel Wilde (as Aladdin) laugh while top-billed Evelyn Keyes (as Babs) watches them from her tree-branch perch with a studio light in the right foreground. As indicated by a rubber stamp on the verso, this photograph was taken by Cronenweth and includes the original paper snipe caption that describes the image. It is in very fine- condition with a light 1 in. semi-circular shaped crease on the tree between Wilde and Keyes and a small crease on the bottom center of the image area. There are no pinholes, tears, stains, or other flaws and the image quality is razor-sharp with very fine detail and beautiful contrast.
