Oversized video box has been cut and mounted in a black, hard plastic clamshell keepcase. Back, top left corner of plastic window has been fixed with a tiny piece of clear tape. Pre-viewed for quality and plays great. Cassette is nice and clean. Don't expect nothing but music.
This was the largest anti-nuke/peace demonstration ever in the history of the USA, over one million people showed up. Equal time is given to the preperation, gathering, march on the United Nations, survivor interviews, music and movie star interviews and some concert footage.
James Taylor does 'You've Got a Friend', Pete Seeger 'If I Had a Hammer', Peter, Paul & Mary 'Where Have All the Flowers Gone?' and more. Hosts Meryl Streep, Orson Welles, Ellen Burstyn, and Roy Scheider provide some interpretive narration. It all took place in New York on June 12, 1982.
It was evidently a pretty big deal at the time and I don't recall any of it. Evidently it did help to turn back the hands on the nuclear clock.
